Skytrails

One day in the summer of 2008, I noticed several long white stripes in the sky. They appeared to lie roughly over the Quabbin Reservoir in Massachusetts. Over the next two hours or so, I photographed them from several nearby positions as the narrow lines widened, overlapped, and became the cloud cover.

There were no airshows taking place nearby at the time.
